HOW DOES THE ANDROIDS' PASSIVE WORK?! A normal Ki meter has 12 sections to be filled with Ki. Say 17 & 18 are in the middle attacking slot next to LR Beerus & Whis and Super Saiyan Goten. Beerus & Whis have a full Ki Meter, but Goten only has 5/12 Ki. Thus, 17 & 18 will gain an ATK boost of 100% from Beerus & Whis' full Ki Meter, with an added 30% for a devastating ATK +130% Velocity Lightning Break.
Bear in mind that Ki Meter percentage is what determines the Androids' ATK boost. Thus, a non-LR character with 10/12 Ki in their Ki Meter (around 83%) will be the greater ally as opposed to an LR with 12/18 Ki in their Ki Meter (around 66%). Even if the LR has more Ki "slots" filled, it will be the percentage that determines who is the ATK boost donor to the Androids.
